Congress MP Accuses KTR of False Propaganda Over FSL Fire

Congress MP Levels Serious Allegations Against BRS Leader KT Rama Rao

In a sharp political confrontation ahead of the municipal elections, Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy launched a scathing attack on BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Sunday. The MP accused KTR of resorting to cheap political tactics and spreading false propaganda against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

Fire Incident at Forensic Lab Sparks Political War

The controversy centers around the recent fire incident at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL). Kiran Kumar Reddy was responding to KTR's allegations that linked the fire to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The Congress MP dismissed these claims as baseless and accused KTR of stooping to the lowest levels of political discourse.

"KTR is making these allegations out of sheer fear of an impending defeat in the upcoming municipal polls," Kiran Kumar Reddy asserted during his statement to the media.

Counter-Allegations and Phone Tapping Case

In a dramatic turn, the Congress MP turned the tables on KTR by suggesting the BRS leader himself might be behind the FSL fire incident. "Phone tapping tapes and related evidence were stored in that forensic lab," Kiran Kumar Reddy revealed, implying possible motives for the fire.

He further alleged, "If there was any conspiracy behind the forensic lab fire, it would be from KTR's side. He is trying to mislead the people by linking the accident to the CM."

Post-Election Destruction Allegations

The Congress MP made additional explosive claims about events following the 2023 assembly elections. According to Kiran Kumar Reddy, after their electoral defeat, the BRS leadership allegedly:

  • Switched off CCTV cameras at the Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB) office
  • Destroyed equipment and sensitive files
  • Dumped materials, including those brought from Israel, into the Musi river

Family Under Scrutiny and Financial Allegations

Kiran Kumar Reddy highlighted that KTR's family is currently facing an inquiry in the phone-tapping case. He accused KTR and his family members of attempting to mislead the public through coordinated efforts on social media, public statements, and propaganda campaigns.

The Congress MP also made serious financial allegations against the previous BRS government, claiming they had pushed Telangana into a debt exceeding Rs 8 lakh crore. "They mortgaged the state's self-respect by changing the party's name from TRS to BRS," he charged.

Call for Accountability Before Elections

In his concluding remarks, Kiran Kumar Reddy issued a direct challenge to the BRS leadership. "The BRS leadership should seek forgiveness from the people of Telangana before asking for votes in the municipal polls," he declared, setting the stage for what promises to be a contentious election season in Hyderabad and across Telangana.

The allegations and counter-allegations between the Congress and BRS leaders have intensified the political atmosphere in the state, with both parties preparing for crucial municipal elections that will test their popularity and organizational strength at the grassroots level.
