Eight IAS Officers Meet Gujarat CM in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: Eight probationary IAS officers from the 2025 batch, assigned to the Gujarat cadre, met Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar on Monday. The officers, who have completed their foundation course at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, have been appointed as assistant collectors in the Gujarat cadre.

District Training Assignments

According to an official statement, the officers have been assigned to Banaskantha, Bharuch, Amreli, Kutch, Panchmahal, Valsad, Rajkot, and Mahisagar for their 52-week district training. This extensive training period is designed to provide them with practical experience in various aspects of governance and administration.

CM's Message to Officers

The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the probationary officers, urging them to serve with a commitment to the welfare of the common man and the underprivileged. He emphasized the importance of dedicated public service in their roles as future administrators.

Training Curriculum

The statement added that during the next 52 weeks, the officers will receive training on various subjects, including public health and nutrition, one district-one product, social and financial inclusion, good governance, law and order, and management. Currently, the officers are undergoing a four-week institutional training at the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) in Ahmedabad, which is set to conclude on May 26. This foundational training aims to equip them with the necessary skills before they embark on their district assignments.
