IJK State Conference in Cuddalore Adopts Strong Resolutions Against DMK Government

The Indiya Jananayaga Katchi (IJK) successfully conducted its fourth state-level conference on Sunday, gathering at Veppur in the Cuddalore district. The event was spearheaded by the party's founder, Parivendhar, and featured BJP state president Nainar Nagenthran as a distinguished special guest, highlighting the growing political alliances in the region.

Key Resolutions and Political Stances

During the conference, the IJK formally adopted a total of 11 significant resolutions. Among these, one resolution strongly condemned the ruling DMK government for what it described as rampant corruption and mismanagement. Another pivotal resolution called for the establishment of a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government under the leadership of Edappadi K Palaniswami, signaling a clear political direction and alignment with broader national politics.

Parivendhar's Address: Unity and Criticism

In his address to the attendees, Parivendhar emphasized the inseparable bond between India and Tamil Nadu, stating, "For us, Bharat and Tamil Nadu are one and the same. If India grows, TN will automatically grow." He further launched a sharp critique against the DMK, accusing the party of obstructing developmental progress in the state.

Parivendhar addressed specific allegations, noting, "They say funds for education were not given. But if you seek funds through proper channels, they will be granted." He continued his criticism by painting a grim picture of Tamil Nadu under DMK rule, asserting that the state has been "reduced to a state with corruption, bribery, murder, robbery, and sexual violence."

Implications for Tamil Nadu Politics

This conference marks a significant moment in Tamil Nadu's political landscape, as the IJK positions itself against the current DMK administration while advocating for a shift towards NDA governance. The participation of BJP leadership underscores the strengthening ties between regional and national parties, potentially influencing future electoral strategies and public discourse in the state.
