KTR Slams Congress Govt, Predicts KCR's Return as Telangana CM
KTR Accuses Congress of Anti-People Policies in Telangana

In a scathing attack on the ruling Congress party, BRS working president KT Rama Rao has declared that a powerful anti-incumbency wave is building against the state government just two years into its term. The senior leader made these remarks during a significant political gathering where several BJP and Congress leaders switched allegiance to the BRS.

Strong Anti-Incumbency Wave Building

Addressing party workers at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday, KTR expressed confidence that people would bring K Chandrasekhar Rao back as chief minister in the next elections. He reiterated the BRS's commitment to standing by its cadre and outlined plans to strengthen the party at grassroots level through membership drives and training programs.

The event marked a significant political development as numerous leaders from both BJP and Congress parties from Kalwakurthy constituency joined the BRS fold, indicating shifting political allegiances in the state.

Real Estate Allegations Against CM Revanth Reddy

KTR launched a particularly sharp criticism against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, accusing him of behaving "more like a real estate agent than a chief minister." He alleged that the CM was targeting prime land parcels including the Musi riverfront, Regional Ring Road stretches, and University of Hyderabad lands for real estate conversion.

"The lands were originally allotted to industrialists at low rates by the government to create employment opportunities," KTR stated. "Now they are being converted for real estate purposes under the industrial land regularisation scheme." He accused Revanth Reddy of granting permissions at "dirt cheap rates" to build apartments and villas on these industrial lands.

Betrayal of Backward Classes

The BRS leader also targeted the Congress government over its failure to deliver on election promises regarding reservations for Backward Classes. KTR accused the Congress of cheating the BC community by reducing their reservation quota from 24% during the previous BRS government to just 17% currently.

"While the previous government provided 24% reservation, the current Congress government has reduced it to just 17%," he revealed. KTR urged the BC community to "teach a lesson" to the party for what he described as "staging dramas over reservations" without delivering concrete results.

Development Legacy and Future Strategy

Recalling the developmental achievements under KCR's tenure, KTR highlighted how Palamuru region transformed from an area of mass migration to experiencing 'reverse migration' due to welfare and irrigation interventions. This transformation stands as a testament to the previous government's successful policies, he emphasized.

Looking ahead, KTR announced that the BRS would soon launch comprehensive membership drives, form committees at field level, and conduct training classes for cadres. The party aims to systematically highlight what it calls the Congress government's "anarchy, corruption and failure to implement guarantees."

He urged BRS leaders and workers to act with unity and fight on behalf of the people, setting the stage for intensified political activities in the coming months.
