During his visit, Chief Minister Stalin will inaugurate an impressive 49 development projects with a total worth of Rs 2,559.5 crore. The foundation stone for this project was laid by the Chief Minister himself on January 22, 2024.
Later in the day, he will inaugurate the statue of renowned Tamil poet Mudiyarasan at Kalanivasal under the Karaikudi municipal corporation. The statue, erected by the Department of Tamil Development at a cost of Rs 50 lakh, honors the poet's contributions to Tamil literature and culture.

On Saturday, January 31, the Chief Minister will inaugurate state-of-the-art facilities at the Agricultural College and Research Institute in Chettinad, built at a cost of Rs 61.78 crore. This initiative is expected to enhance agricultural education and research in the region.
He will also inaugurate the newly constructed Government Law College in Karaikudi, which has been developed with an investment of Rs 100.45 crore, aiming to improve legal education infrastructure.
