Sanjay Raut's Cryptic Post After Shinde's Jab

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Monday made a cryptic post on social media, taking a dig at Chief Minister Eknath Shinde without naming him. Raut wrote, 'Some people are dogs but not loyal,' hours after Shinde launched a scathing attack on former CM Uddhav Thackeray.

Shinde's Attack on Thackeray

Earlier in the day, Eknath Shinde, while addressing a rally in Mumbai, accused Uddhav Thackeray of betraying the people of Maharashtra. Shinde said, 'Uddhav Thackeray is a traitor who sold out the state for his personal ambitions. He stabbed the party and the people in the back.'

Raut's Response

Raut's post, which did not mention Shinde by name, was widely interpreted as a response to the CM's remarks. The Rajya Sabha MP has been known for his sharp tongue and often uses social media to target political rivals. The post read: 'Some people are dogs but not loyal. They change masters for power. History will remember them as traitors.'

Political Reactions

The war of words between the two Shiv Sena factions has intensified ahead of the upcoming municipal elections in Maharashtra. BJP leaders also weighed in, with state BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule saying, 'Sanjay Raut's language reflects the frustration of a sinking ship. The people have rejected Uddhav Thackeray's leadership.'

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) workers staged protests outside Shinde's residence, accusing him of being a 'puppet' of the BJP. The political drama is expected to continue as both sides gear up for the elections.
