"Today I visited many temples in the city to seek blessings from Mahadev for the upcoming polls," Roshni stated, highlighting the dual purpose of her religious visits.
Meanwhile, Congress-supported mayoral candidate Rama Khalkho attended the Shiv Baraat procession at Pahadi Mandir, where she had a brief encounter with Chief Minister Hemant Soren. "During the visit, along with the residents, I had the opportunity to meet chief minister Hemant Soren ji and we discussed some issues related to the polls, although for a very brief time," Rama revealed. She added that her prayers extended beyond political ambitions, focusing on "the development of not only Ranchi but Jharkhand as a whole."

In Dhanbad, the pattern repeated with mayoral candidate Ravi Chaudhary joining a Shiv Baraat procession in Vinod Nagar during the evening hours. Walking alongside devotees, Chaudhary greeted participants, sought votes, and engaged in brief conversations with residents gathered along the procession route. Throughout the day, similar scenes unfolded at various temples across the city as candidates made strategic visits to maximize public contact during the high-footfall festival.

At Hirapur Shiv Temple, priest Umakant Pandey observed the significant influx of devotees, noting that "a huge number of devotees visited since morning, with women forming the majority. All are offering water to Lord Shiva and praying for the fulfilment of their wishes." Pandey astutely recognized the political calculation behind the candidates' temple visits, stating, "Busy temples provide an opportunity to meet many voters at once, which is why several candidates are visiting here."
