Tragic Drowning Claims Three Lives in Pilibhit's Sharda River

A young man named Avdhesh Prasad, 25 years old, witnessed the accident. He jumped into the river immediately. His intention was to rescue the two boys. Unfortunately, he also drowned in the deep water. All three individuals succumbed to the treacherous conditions.
Challenges During Rescue Operations
Village pradhan Vasudev Kundu described the rescue efforts. A team from the Sashastra Seema Bal reached the spot promptly. However, their rescue operations faced significant hurdles. Oxygen masks failed to function properly. This malfunction hampered their ability to conduct an effective rescue.
Villagers took matters into their own hands. They used nets and fishing equipment to retrieve the bodies. Their persistent efforts eventually led to the recovery of all three victims from the river.
