Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to visit Ayodhya on Friday to participate in the birthday celebrations of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, who serves as the president of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The festivities will include a 10-day Ram Katha, planned from June 19 to June 28. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das will turn 88 on June 27.
Development Projects and Inaugurations
During his visit, the Chief Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for 123 developmental projects across the Ayodhya district. According to the official itinerary, Yogi Adityanath will arrive in Ayodhya from Gonda at approximately 1:45 PM. He will land at the Ram Katha Park helipad and proceed to Hanumangarhi, followed by a visit to the Ram Temple. His schedule also includes the Panchkalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsav at the Shri Rishabh Dev Digambar Jain Temple, the inauguration of the Ramayana Wax Museum, and the foundation-laying of various development projects undertaken by the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation.
Significance of Panchkalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsav
The Chief Minister will attend the Panchkalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsav at the Shri Rishabh Dev Digambar Jain Temple around 3:30 PM. This event holds great significance in Jainism, as it commemorates the five major auspicious events in the lives of the Tirthankaras: conception, birth, penance, attainment of omniscience, and liberation (moksha). Jain devotees, saints, and religious leaders from various parts of the country will be present on this occasion.
Following the Jain ceremony, CM Yogi will visit Maniram Das Chhavani to meet Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. He is also expected to inaugurate a wax museum related to the construction of the Ram Temple, which has been built by the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation.
