CM Yogi Issues Stern Warning on Donation Misuse

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday issued a strict warning against any theft or misappropriation of donations collected for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Addressing a public event, he said that the state government would adopt a zero-tolerance policy towards such crimes and warned miscreants not to test the patience of Lord Ram's devotees.

"Those who try to steal or embezzle funds meant for the Ram Temple will face the full force of the law. This is a matter of faith for crores of people. Do not take the agnipariksha (trial by fire) of Ram bhakts (devotees) lightly," CM Yogi stated.

The Chief Minister's remarks come amid reports of alleged irregularities in the collection and handling of donations for the temple construction. He directed officials to ensure transparency and accountability in the donation process. "Every rupee donated by devotees must be used only for the temple. Any diversion will be dealt with severely," he added.
