Rajasthan Deputy CM Celebrates Women's Day with Muay Thai Champions
On the occasion of International Women's Day, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari hosted a special meeting with accomplished Muay Thai martial art players at the historic City Palace in Jaipur. The event, held on Sunday, served as a platform to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary achievements of female athletes from the state who have excelled in this combat sport.

The Deputy Chief Minister extended special congratulations to athletes Mudit Gupta, Vidhi Sharma, and Mohini, who proudly represented India in the prestigious Asian Youth Olympic Games. Association Presents Memento and Briefing
On this significant occasion, Shriram Chaudhary, the General Secretary of the United Muay Thai Association of India (also known as Shriram Martial Art), presented a commemorative memento and a special magazine to Deputy CM Diya Kumari. Chaudhary also provided a detailed briefing about the various activities, training programs, and remarkable achievements of Muay Thai in Rajasthan, underscoring the sport's growing popularity and institutional support.

Diya Kumari encouraged all the players to persistently strive for excellence and maintain their high standards in the sport. She assured them of comprehensive and all possible support from the state government, emphasizing the administration's commitment to fostering athletic talent and promoting sports development across Rajasthan.
Historic Performance at National Championship
It is particularly noteworthy that Muay Thai players from Rajasthan have been consistently delivering exceptional performances. Recently, at the National Muay Thai Championship held in Hyderabad, athletes from the state created history by winning an impressive tally of more than 33 gold, silver, and bronze medals. Under the expert guidance of Shriram Chaudhary, Rajasthan secured the first runner-up position in the championship, a testament to the region's thriving martial arts ecosystem.
