Renault India has launched the 2026 Renault Triber in the Indian market. The updated MPV features added features and revised variants aimed at enhancing comfort and everyday usability. Select features from higher trims are now available in mid-spec versions. Customers can book the Triber online or visit their nearest dealership, with deliveries expected to begin soon.
2026 Renault Triber vs Nissan Gravite: Price and Variants
The 2026 Renault Triber is offered in four variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. Prices range from Rs 5.80 lakh to Rs 8.48 lakh (ex-showroom). The Triber has received a price hike, with the base Authentic trim costing Rs 5,000 more and the top-spec Emotion trim seeing an increase of Rs 9,000. The Nissan Gravite is available in five variants: Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and a launch edition, priced between Rs 5.65 lakh and Rs 8.93 lakh (ex-showroom). The Triber is Rs 15,000 costlier at the base, while the Gravite is Rs 45,000 more expensive at the top end.
2026 Renault Triber vs Nissan Gravite: Platform and Dimensions
Both the Triber and Gravite are built on the same CMF-A+ platform and share identical core dimensions, with minor variations in overall length due to cosmetic differences. The Triber measures 3,990 mm in length, 1,739 mm in width, 1,643 mm in height, and has a 2,636 mm wheelbase. Ground clearance is 182 mm, and it gets 15-inch styled wheels. The Nissan Gravite measures 3,987 mm in length (3 mm shorter), 1,734 mm in width (5 mm narrower), and 1,644 mm in height (1 mm taller), with the same wheelbase, ground clearance, and 15-inch wheels.

The Renault Triber is offered in six colour options: Amber Terracotta, Shadow Grey, Ice Cool White, Zanskar Blue, Moonlight Silver, and Stealth Black. The Nissan Gravite is available in five colours: Forest Green, Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Storm White, and Metallic Grey.

Inside, both models share the same layout with minor tweaks in colour scheme and trim elements. They are offered in a 5+2 seating configuration. Features common to both include LED DRLs, projector headlights, fog lamps, dual-tone wheel covers, auto-fold ORVMs, a driver’s seat armrest, driver’s seat height adjust, a cooled lower glove box, push button start, two tweeters, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, a rear camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, a third-row 12V socket, auto headlights with follow-me-home function, auto wipers, cruise control, a rear defogger, and front parking sensors. The Nissan Gravite additionally gets a launch edition trim with features such as a JBL sound system, a dual-channel dashcam, ambient lighting, and a cabin air purifier. On the safety front, both cars get six airbags as standard, along with TPMS, electronic stability control, traction control, brake assist, ABS, and hill start assist.
2026 Triber: What’s New?
The updated Triber introduces automatic climate control, but it remains limited to the top-spec Emotion variant. Renault has revised the second-row seat layout, retaining the fold-and-tumble function while repositioning the release lever to the top of the seatback for easier third-row access. The second row now folds flat, increasing boot capacity to 1,065 litres with both rear rows down. Features have been redistributed across variants: the Techno trim now offers a driver’s armrest, height-adjustable driver’s seat, rear defogger, third-row 12V socket, front tweeters, and electrically foldable ORVMs, previously limited to the top variant. The Evolution variant gains steering-mounted controls, a day/night adjustable IRVM, and a rear cabin lamp, features previously available only from the Techno trim.
2026 Renault Triber vs Nissan Gravite: Powertrain
Both compact MPVs are powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 72 hp and 96 Nm of torque. It is offered with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. CNG retrofitment is available on the Triber and Gravite MT variants, along with a 3-year warranty.
