Former German footballer Thomas Muller has urged Bayern Munich to keep tabs on Switzerland youngster Johan Manzambi following his impressive performance in the FIFA World Cup 2026. Manzambi, who plays for Bundesliga side Freiburg, scored a brace off the bench in Switzerland's 4-1 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 20-year-old entered the field in the 74th minute and needed just two minutes to open his account with a powerful volley. He completed his double in the 90th minute, earning the Player of the Match award. Muller’s Advice to Bayern

The German legend, a World Cup winner himself, believes the Swiss teenager has the potential to strengthen the Bavarian club's attacking options.
Despite the high praise, Manzambi remains focused on his current commitments. His contract with Freiburg runs until 2030, and he is not looking beyond the World Cup for now. “I am still in Freiburg. I'm focused on the World Cup. I do not know what I will be doing next season,” he said.
