The Forza Horizon 6 "Blast from the Past" Weekly Challenge is now available for players. To complete this week's challenge, participants must finish four objectives centered around the iconic 1982 DeLorean DMC-12. This challenge is located in the Summer section of the Festival Playlist and becomes accessible after finishing the Rookie Yellow Wristband event in the main storyline.
To successfully complete the challenge, players need to acquire the DeLorean, maintain a specific speed, take a photograph of the vehicle, and win a Road Race while driving it. Completing all four objectives will mark the weekly challenge as finished.
How to Complete All Blast from the Past Weekly Challenge Tasks
Task 1: Get the 1982 DeLorean DMC-12
The first objective is to obtain the 1982 DeLorean DMC-12. Players can purchase this vehicle from the AutoShow by opening the Cars tab and selecting "Buy New and Used Cars." The DeLorean has its own manufacturer category and costs 72,000 Credits. After buying it, driving the car a short distance will complete the first objective.
Task 2: Maintain a Speed of 88 MPH or Above for 10 Seconds
The second objective requires players to keep the DeLorean traveling at 88 MPH or faster for 10 consecutive seconds, a clear homage to the Back to the Future franchise. A recommended location for this challenge is the Festival Kilometer Drag Meet in the Ohtani region. The long straight road provides ample space to maintain the required speed without slowing down. Stay above 88 MPH for 10 seconds, and the objective will complete automatically.
Task 3: Take a Photo of the DeLorean
The third objective is straightforward. Enter Photo Mode and take a picture of the 1982 DeLorean DMC-12. Players can access Photo Mode by pressing the D-pad down or the P key on a keyboard. The photo does not need a high score; the DeLorean only needs to be visible in the image.
Win a Road Race to Finish the Challenge
The final objective requires players to win any Road Race while driving the 1982 DeLorean DMC-12. A convenient option is the Tokyo Railway Sprint Road Race, located northeast of Tokyo City near the Minamino region. As one of the earlier races available in the game, it is often a suitable choice for completing this requirement. If winning proves difficult, players can create a custom event from a previously completed race and reduce the difficulty setting to Tourist. Depending on the selected race, it may also be necessary to adjust the event theme so that the DeLorean is eligible to participate. Once players win a Road Race in the DeLorean, the fourth and final objective will be completed, finishing the Blast from the Past Weekly Challenge.
