Jaipur: Rajasthan United Football Club experienced a narrow 0-1 defeat against Dempo Sports Club at Namdhari Football Stadium in their latest Indian Football League encounter on Friday. Despite a disciplined and spirited performance, the team was unable to convert their chances, with the opposition capitalizing on a decisive moment.
The result serves as a setback, but the squad remains determined to respond strongly in the upcoming fixture against Diamond Harbour FC. Assistant coach Vikas Rawat reflected on the performance and preparations ahead: "It's a disappointing result for us, especially considering the effort the boys put in. We had our moments but couldn't capitalize. However, we take this as a learning experience. We aim to come back stronger and secure a positive result."
Club chairman KK Tak shared his thoughts and encouraged the supporters: "Results like these are always tough, but they are part of the journey in football. I have full faith in the team and coaching staff to bounce back. We urge our fans to continue standing by us. Your support motivates the players, and together we will strive for better results in the upcoming matches."
Rajasthan United FC will now turn their attention to the next fixture against Diamond Harbour FC on May 8, 2026, at Kalyani Stadium, where the team will look to regroup and return to winning ways.
