The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) ad hoc committee has officially invited applications to select members for the selection committees of the men's and women's teams across various age groups in Rajasthan. These committees will be responsible for selecting teams to participate in domestic cricket competitions and BCCI national tournaments during the upcoming cricket season 2026-27.
Eligibility Criteria for Selection Committees
According to RCA ad hoc committee convener Dr. Mohit Jaswant Yadav, the association has issued requisitions based on the conditions outlined in the necessary parameters. These guidelines apply to the senior men, junior men, and women selection committees, which will evaluate player performance in state-level cricket competitions of different age groups organized by RCA and select the Rajasthan teams for the BCCI cricket season 2026-27.
RCA Senior Men's Selection Committee
- The applicant must have experience of playing at least 10 First-Class matches.
- The applicant must have retired from the sport at least 5 years prior to the time of application.
RCA Junior Men's Selection Committee
- The applicant must have experience of playing at least 5 First-Class matches.
- The applicant must have retired from the sport at least 5 years prior to the time of application.
RCA Women's Selection Committee
- The applicant must have represented the Rajasthan women's team.
- The applicant must have retired from the sport at least 5 years prior to the time of application.
Additional Conditions and Application Process
Applications from individuals who have previously served as members of any RCA selection committee for a completed tenure of 5 years or more will not be considered. Additionally, applicants must submit a declaration form confirming that they are not associated with any cricket academy.
