Judo Achievements
Pratyushi Sonkar and Shaurya Sonkar, trainees of The Sports Hub, won silver and bronze medals respectively at the 55th KVS Regional Sports Meet 2026. The judokas performed excellently in their respective categories.
Free Sports Training for EWS Athletes
Currently, 223 children from economically weaker sections are receiving free sports coaching at The Sports Hub. This is the eighth batch of trainees, trained under expert supervision with modern equipment. Over the past seven batches, 1,734 athletes have been trained, winning 4 silver and 6 bronze medals at state level, and 36 gold, 32 silver, and 48 bronze medals at district level.
Cricket Coaching Camp Concluded
The Sports Directorate's 15-day central coaching camp concluded at Green Park Stadium on Wednesday. Eighty under-15 cricketers from 18 divisions were trained by expert coaches. Rajendra Tiwari, SP Vigilance, was the chief guest and presented certificates and T-shirts to all trainees.
