Titans Eye Falcons Star TE Kyle Pitts in Potential Trade Move

The Tennessee Titans have endured a disastrous run on the field over the last few seasons, recording just 3 wins and 14 losses in both 2025 and 2024. Despite focusing on a roster change, the team failed to show any improvement in their performance. Now, the Titans are reportedly looking to make a move for Atlanta Falcons star tight end Kyle Pitts.

Titans Tipped to Pursue Kyle Pitts

According to Bleacher Report's Alex Kay, the Tennessee Titans could look to capitalize on a rejuvenated Kyle Pitts being available in a trade. Kay noted that while fourth-round rookie Gunnar Helm showed some promise last year, Pitts would immediately slot in as the team's TE1 and become a focal point of the offense. If the Titans want to build around rising star Cam Ward, it would behoove the organization to put a strong offer for Pitts on the table during the 2026 draft.

Kay added that the tight end would be an ideal red area target and safety valve in offensive coordinator Brian Daboll's system, while still being young enough at 25 to continue improving alongside Ward if he receives a contract extension from the Titans. However, the Tennessee Titans have not yet commented on the trade talks involving Kyle Pitts.

Falcons Open to Listening to Offers

Though the Atlanta Falcons placed the franchise tag on Kyle Pitts in February, it seems the team is still open to trading him. As per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, last week the Falcons' general manager Ian Cunningham commented on Kyle Pitts, saying, "I would say, for all the players, we are going to listen…" He added, "I wouldn't just say Kyle. All players, we are going to listen. That's our job. That doesn't mean that's going to happen."

Pitts' Impressive Performance Despite Injury

The Atlanta Falcons' star tight end, Kyle Pitts, has been a force to be reckoned with on the field. Last season, even as he dealt with a brutal knee injury, Pitts started all 17 games, finishing the season with 88 catches for 928 yards and a career-high five touchdowns. This performance also earned Pitts his first AP All-Pro selection, as he impressed everyone with his dominating presence on the field.

For now, all eyes are on what the Atlanta Falcons decide to do about Kyle Pitts, as fans wait for him to bounce back on the field. The Titans' potential move could reshape their offense and provide a much-needed boost for the upcoming season.
