Dilsher Singh Grewal emerged victorious in the first edition of the Captains Cup, a tournament instituted in honour of the Club Captain and hosted by the Chandigarh Golf Club. The event was exclusively for single-handicap golfers (0–9 handicap) and featured a 36-hole stroke format that attracted the club's finest amateur golfers.
Consistent Performance Secures Victory
Dilsher displayed remarkable consistency over both rounds to finish with an impressive aggregate score of 146 (71, 75). His solid play across the two days ensured he held off strong competition from the field.
Top Finishers and Competitive Field
HS Kang bagged the second position with a total score of 149, while Tarun Lehal finished third with a score of 154. The championship brought together the club’s most skilled amateur golfers, resulting in highly competitive golf throughout the event.
