Punjab to Set Up Four AI Universities: Sisodia

Senior AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced on Tuesday that the Punjab government will establish four Artificial Intelligence (AI) universities across the state. The announcement was made during the 'Bright Minds Punjab' programme in Muktsar, where Sisodia, along with Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, felicitated over 1,050 meritorious students from government schools who scored 85% or above in their Class XII examinations.

Transforming Education for the AI Era

Sisodia stated that the education system is being transformed to meet the demands of the AI era. He emphasized that students will no longer be restricted to traditional classroom learning. The new universities will have both human teachers and AI-powered instructors, blending technology with conventional teaching methods. Admissions to these universities are scheduled to begin in August, as per Sisodia's announcement.

Online Answer Sheets for Transparency

Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains announced that answer sheets of exams conducted by the Punjab School Education Board will now be made available online. This move aims to enhance transparency and fairness in the examination system, allowing students and parents to access their answer sheets digitally.
