The plan is aimed at budget-conscious users seeking long-term voice and data benefits without frequent recharges.

The Rs 225 plan provides subscribers with unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls to any network across India for 30 days. Along with voice benefits, users get 75GB of high-speed 4G data, which translates to 2.5GB per day. Additionally, the plan includes 100 free SMS per day, making it suitable for users who rely on text communication.
According to BSNL's official website, the plan also comes with a complimentary subscription to BSNL's own OTT platform, BSNL TV, which offers access to live TV channels and on-demand content. However, the plan does not include any additional benefits like access to premium OTT apps such as Amazon Prime or Zee5, which are bundled with some higher-value plans.

The Rs 225 plan positions BSNL competitively against private players like Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea. For comparison, Jio's Rs 299 plan offers 2GB/day data, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS/day for 28 days, along with JioCinema and JioTV access.
