Gagandeep Kaur, a promising basketball player trained at the Ludhiana Basketball Academy (LBA), has been selected to represent the India Under-18 women's team in the FIBA Asia Cup (Division B) tournament scheduled to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from July 13 to July 19.

Training and Background

Born in 2008, Gagandeep hails from Bathinda and has steadily risen through the ranks with consistent performances. She trained under Sports Department coach Saloni at the Ludhiana Basketball Academy. Earlier, she represented India at the World School Games held recently in Serbia. Coach Saloni will accompany the Indian contingent to Thailand.
