The conservation centre is set to be constructed near Semmozhi Park in Coimbatore at an estimated cost of Rs 25.14 crore. The Tamil Nadu Forest Department will oversee the development and implementation of this ambitious project, which is designed to focus on the conservation of the Nilgiri tahr, the official state animal of Tamil Nadu.
