Russia Unleashes Major Strikes Across Ukraine
Russia on Sunday said it launched a fresh wave of large-scale strikes across Ukraine, targeting military positions, energy infrastructure, transportation networks, and drone production facilities. The attacks reportedly hit several regions, including Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipro, as the war enters another intense phase.
Casualties and Damage Reported
Moscow's strike took place after one person was killed and six others, including a child, were injured in Kharkiv after Russian guided bombs struck residential areas. Emergency crews were seen rescuing survivors and recovering victims from the rubble. A day earlier, Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia left at least 10 people injured and caused damage to vehicles and infrastructure.
Broader Impact on Ukraine
The strikes are part of a pattern of escalating attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure, particularly energy sites, as winter approaches. Ukrainian officials have reported widespread power outages and damage to civilian areas. The international community has condemned the attacks, with many calling for increased military aid to Ukraine.
