The confrontation occurred on Saturday in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Drinkwater Road. According to police reports, the victim had just exited a public transit bus when Singh began to follow him. The suspect then informed the victim that he was carrying a firearm, prompting immediate alarm.
The victim acted swiftly and called 911. Officers responded to the scene and located Singh a short distance away from the initial encounter. During their interaction with the suspect, the situation escalated when he allegedly produced the weapon and then threw it into a nearby snowbank. Upon retrieval, the item was confirmed to be a replica or fake gun.
