Expected Cutoffs for Top Universities

The NTA does not declare a centralized cutoff list. Participating institutes like Delhi University (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will issue separate merit thresholds through portals like DU CSAS based on normalized NTA scores. Due to the surge in applicants, experts project high-tier percentiles. For general category admissions, expected cutoffs for high-demand domains are: DU for B.Com (Hons), B.A. Economics (Hons), Political Science: 750-790+ marks; DU for B.Sc. (Hons) Physics/Chemistry/Computer Science: 720-760 marks; BHU for B.A. Arts/Social Sciences, B.Com, Maths Group: 680-740 marks; JNU for B.A. (Hons) Foreign Languages: 740-775 marks; and mid-tier central universities for various integrated UG/Law/Management programmes: 600-680 marks. These ranges are indicative and may vary based on applicant numbers, exam difficulty, seat availability, reservation category, and normalization.

Once results are posted on cuet.nta.nic.in, aspirants should promptly download their PDF scorecards using their Application Number and Date of Birth to apply for separate university counselling portals.
