Mysuru: Additional Deputy Commissioner R Aishwarya on Friday directed officials to ensure the smooth and lapse-free conduct of the NEET re-examination scheduled for June 21.
Preparatory Meeting Highlights
Chairing a preparatory meeting, Aishwarya stated that the re-examination will be held at 21 centres in the city, with 7,886 students set to appear.
Exam Timings and Entry Rules
NEET exam coordinator Mithilesh Kumar said the exam will be conducted from 2pm to 5pm. Frisking and biometric verification will begin at 11am, and entry will be allowed only until 1:30pm. No entry will be permitted after 1:30pm.
Security Arrangements
Police bandobast will be provided at each centre, with one police circle inspector, three male personnel, and two female personnel deployed, Kumar added.
Infrastructure and Facilities
Aishwarya directed Mysuru City Corporation officials to ensure cleanliness around the centres. She instructed the health department to deploy staff to address any health issues faced by candidates.
She also directed KSRTC to arrange additional buses to help students reach centres on time. Additionally, she called on CESC to ensure an uninterrupted power supply and demanded wheelchairs and basic facilities for differently abled candidates.
