The re-exam is scheduled to be held on June 19, 2026, for candidates who faced irregularities during the main exam.

Prohibited Items in the Examination Hall

Candidates are strictly forbidden from carrying any electronic gadgets, including mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, and digital pens. Other barred items include:

  • Wallets, handbags, and pouches (only transparent ones allowed).

Dress Code for Male Candidates

Male aspirants are required to wear light-colored, half-sleeved shirts or T-shirts without any pockets. Full-sleeved garments, jackets, and blazers are strictly prohibited. They must also avoid wearing shoes with thick soles; slippers or sandals are recommended. If a candidate needs to wear a headscarf or dupatta due to religious reasons, she must report to the examination center early for a thorough check.

General Instructions

All candidates must bring their admit card and a valid photo ID. They should report to the exam center at least two hours before the scheduled time. Any candidate found violating the dress code or carrying prohibited items will be disqualified. The NTA has also advised candidates to avoid wearing any kind of perfume or strong-smelling substances.
