Former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav alleged that police fired on protesters in Siwan district. In a statement, he claimed that the police opened fire without warning, causing injuries to several people. "The government is trying to suppress the voice of the people by using force," Yadav said. Police officials in Siwan have not yet confirmed the incident, but an investigation has been ordered.
The NEET paper leak has sparked widespread outrage across the country. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test was conducted earlier this month, but reports of a question paper leak emerged, leading to the cancellation of the exam in some centers.
