Out of 2,035 advertised posts, 2,027 candidates were successfully selected. However, eight positions reserved for the disabled quota remained unfilled due to a lack of eligible candidates.

Selected Candidates to Fill Key Government Roles

The successful candidates will be appointed to various prestigious state government positions, including sub-divisional magistrate (SDM), deputy superintendent of police (DSP), tax officer, and state tax officer, among other administrative roles.

Addressing Concerns Over Process Delays

Responding to concerns about the duration of the recruitment process, Parmar explained that the scale of the 70th exam was significantly larger than previous cycles. The 68th exam had only 324 vacancies with 817 interviewees, and the 69th exam featured 475 vacancies with 1,252 candidates interviewed. In contrast, the 70th exam involved 2,035 vacancies and approximately 5,450 interviewees, which naturally extended the timeline.

Timeline of the Recruitment Process

The recruitment process commenced with the preliminary examination on December 13, 2024. The main examination was conducted in April 2025, followed by interviews held from January to April 2026. The final results were declared on Saturday, marking the culmination of a lengthy selection procedure.
