The Department of Basic Education in Uttar Pradesh is set to conduct a special training program for district coordinators on June 1 and 2 to enhance the effectiveness of the NIPUN Bharat Mission at the grassroots level. Officials stated that the training aims to strengthen the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation mechanisms related to the mission and quality education enhancement activities.
Training Details and Schedule
Instructions have been issued to all basic education officers to ensure district coordinators attend the program at the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in Lucknow. The training will be organized in two batches. The first batch on June 1 will include participants from Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, Devipatan, Gorakhpur, and Chitrakoot divisions. The second batch on June 2 will cover district coordinators from Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, and Varanasi divisions.
Objectives and Content
According to departmental officials, the training will equip district coordinators with knowledge and skills in academic and administrative monitoring, data-based planning and decision-making, effective review processes, teacher support systems, and procedures necessary for improving student learning outcomes (SLOs). A government spokesperson emphasized that the NIPUN Bharat Mission is not merely an educational program but a comprehensive campaign aimed at strengthening children's foundational learning abilities.
