In the video, Lewis included glimpses of Hall over the years and photos of the couple together. The video was captioned with the words, 'I can't believe I'm doing this for you.' In her accompanying note, she wrote, 'My first love, my childhood sweetheart. A love that taught me so much about life and myself, and even more so now your presence is no longer here.'
She described Hall as a 'complete pain in the arse most of the time, but always with the purest heart and the greatest soul.' Lewis also reflected on his aspirations, stating, 'I knew who you were... and I know what you wanted from life... a happy home and a loving family. Being the best dad was the most important thing to you & we always used to speak about it. You did that, Jake, with pride and made it look so easy and effortless.'
Chloe Lewis on Meeting Jake Hall for the First Time
Lewis recalled meeting Hall when they were both 16 years old. She remembered their first night together, saying, 'I remember thinking, How am I stuck with this guy for the night? But somehow, you danced with me all night and we belly-laughed until the early hours.'
She also highlighted their 10-year relationship and how they remained a part of each other's lives even after separating. 'The most talented and creative person I knew, from such a young age — starting Prevu in your mum and dad's garage. Me and Mummy were always your No.1 fans,' she added. Lewis concluded her post with a poignant apology: 'I'm sorry I couldn't have saved you.'
What Happened to Jake Hall?
Jake Hall passed away earlier this year at the age of 35 after an accident at a villa in Majorca. He was reportedly found with head injuries after accidentally running into a glass door, which caused serious head and chest injuries. He was in Majorca with friends at the time of the incident.
