Advanced Auto-Blood Analyser Boosts Koraput Healthcare

Healthcare services in Koraput district received a major boost with the inauguration of an advanced auto-blood analyser unit at the district headquarters hospital (DHH) in Jeypore on Saturday. The new facility is expected to improve diagnostic services by delivering faster and more accurate blood test results to patients.

State-of-the-Art Equipment Enhances Laboratory Efficiency

The state-of-the-art equipment will enable the hospital laboratory to process a large volume of blood samples in a shorter time while maintaining high levels of accuracy. Hospital authorities said the analyser would assist doctors in the timely diagnosis and treatment of various ailments, including infections, anaemia, blood disorders and other conditions that require laboratory investigations.

Rapid Results and Direct Patient Notification

DHH superintendent Akhaya Rath said the facility would enhance the quality and efficiency of diagnostic services at the hospital. Blood test reports can now be generated within 10 minutes and will be sent directly to the phone number provided by the patient. “Accurate and timely diagnosis is the cornerstone of effective treatment. This facility will help doctors take quicker clinical decisions and ensure better patient care. Our aim is to make advanced healthcare services accessible to people, particularly those living in rural and tribal areas,” he said.

The facility will be beneficial for residents of remote and tribal pockets of Koraput and neighbouring districts who rely on the govt hospital for affordable and quality healthcare.

Part of Ongoing Healthcare Modernization

Rath said the installation of the analyser is part of the district health administration's ongoing efforts to modernise healthcare infrastructure and strengthen diagnostic services. He expressed confidence that the new facility would contribute to improved treatment outcomes and a better patient experience.
