A delegation of young individuals from Kashmir embarked on a comprehensive visit to Kanpur on Friday as part of a youth exchange initiative designed to enhance cultural awareness and strengthen national integration. This day-long program provided the participants with an immersive experience into the city's diverse heritage, social dynamics, industrial landscape, and educational framework.
Wildlife Conservation and Environmental Insights at Kanpur Zoological Park
The tour commenced with a visit to the Kanpur Zoological Park, where the youths had the opportunity to observe a variety of wildlife species up close. They received detailed briefings from Kanhaiya Lal, the director of the Zoological Park, and Range Forest Officer Naveed Ikram, who emphasized the critical importance of biodiversity conservation, maintaining environmental balance, and protecting natural resources. Next, the group proceeded to the historic Hazrat Makhdoom Shah Alaul Haq Dargah, commonly known as Dada Miyan Dargah. They witnessed the entire newspaper production process, including compilation, editing, designing, and printing.
