Chennai: In anticipation of the auspicious Muhurtham day on May 8 and the following weekend, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has arranged special bus services to facilitate travel for the public. A total of 685 buses will operate from Kilambakkam on May 8, covering routes to Trichy, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Tuticorin, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, and Tirupur. On May 9, the number of buses from Kilambakkam will increase to 735.
Additional Services from Koyambedu and Madhavaram
From Koyambedu, 120 special buses have been arranged for Friday and Saturday, serving destinations such as Tiruvannamalai, Nagapattinam, Velankanni, Hosur, and Bengaluru.
