A devastating fire broke out in the early hours of the morning at a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) staff residential complex in North Delhi, resulting in the tragic deaths of three members of a single family. Family Trapped in Fifth-Floor Inferno
The fire erupted on the fifth floor of the DMRC staff quarters located in the Majlis Park area. The deceased have been identified as 40-year-old Ajay, his 38-year-old wife Neelam, and their 10-year-old daughter Anvi. The family was reportedly asleep when the fire started, leaving them with little chance to escape the rapidly spreading flames and smoke.
According to officials from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), the emergency control room received a distress call about the blaze at approximately 2.39 am. Responding swiftly to the crisis, the department dispatched a team of five fire tenders to the location. Around 25 firefighters were involved in the arduous operation to control the fire and search for survivors.

Despite the rapid response from the firefighting teams, the situation inside the apartment was dire. The firefighters battled the intense flames and managed to bring the fire under control by 3.30 am. However, during their search of the charred premises, they made a heartbreaking discovery.
