Bhilwara Police Solve Blind Murder, Four Arrested

A joint team of the Cyber Cell and Mandlgarh Police successfully solved a blind murder case on Saturday, leading to the arrest of four individuals in connection with an unidentified body discovered four days earlier in Khangaar Ji Ka Kheda village, under the Mandlgarh police station area of Bhilwara district.

Discovery of the Body

According to Bhilwara Superintendent of Police (SP) Dharmendra Singh, on April 18, a two-to-three-day-old unidentified body was found in a deserted forest near Khangaar Ji Ka Kheda village. Police conducted a thorough inspection of the crime scene.

During the inspection, officers discovered cut marks on the deceased's throat, apparently made by a sharp weapon, and a stone used to strike the head near the body. The body was subsequently placed in the mortuary, and an investigation was launched.

Identification of the Victim

Through the investigation, the deceased was identified as 32-year-old Nagaram, a resident of the Bagooda police station area in Jalore district. After identification by the victim's father, the body was handed over to the family following a post-mortem conducted by a medical board.

Details of the Crime

Police revealed that the deceased's close friend, Kishanlal, who belongs to the Mandlgarh police station area, was involved in the murder. On April 16, Kishanlal gained the victim's trust by promising him opium and called him to Khangaar Ji Ka Kheda village, instructing him to bring money. Once there, Kishanlal took him into the forest, slit his throat with a blade, struck his head with a stone, and killed him. He then stole Rs 70,000 from the victim's pocket and gold jewellery (cloves) from his ears.

The police arrested four individuals: Kishan, Ishwar, Vinod, and Kamlesh. They are currently being interrogated to uncover further details of the crime.
