A 42-year-old woman in Bhopal has accused her male colleague of repeatedly sexually exploiting and blackmailing her for nearly four years after allegedly drugging and raping her. Police registered a rape case against the man on Wednesday.
Details of the Complaint
According to police, the woman stated in her complaint that around four years ago, her colleague took her out under the pretense of visiting a temple. He allegedly mixed an intoxicant into a soft drink, causing her to lose consciousness. While she was unconscious, he raped her and captured objectionable photos and videos.
Blackmail and Circulation of Images
The woman further alleged that the accused threatened to make the images public and continued to sexually exploit her for years. Recently, when she resisted his advances, he circulated her private photographs and videos to her daughter and other relatives through social media platforms.
Distressed by the ongoing harassment, the woman approached the Ratibad police and lodged a formal complaint. Authorities have initiated an investigation and registered a rape case against the accused.
