Tragedy Strikes as Fire Claims Young Life in Kutch

A devastating fire broke out in a residential room near the Arihant Salt Company in Bhachau taluka of Kutch district on Friday night, leading to the tragic death of a seven-year-old boy. The incident, which occurred between 8 pm and 8.30 pm, has left the local community in shock.

Victims and Immediate Aftermath

The deceased child has been identified as Aryan Koli. His parents, Navghan Koli and his wife, sustained severe burn injuries in the blaze. They were immediately rushed to Bhuj G K General Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment for their critical wounds.

In a stroke of fortune amidst the tragedy, three other children managed to escape unharmed. This group included the couple's 10-year-old daughter, who was sleeping in an adjacent room when the fire erupted.

Police Investigation and Family Background

The Bhachau police have registered a case and initiated a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire. Authorities are examining all possibilities to understand what led to the deadly incident.

According to preliminary police inquiries, the affected family originally hailed from Patdi in Surendranagar district. They had been residing in the Bhachau area for some time, working as daily wage labourers to earn their livelihood.
