The Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council (HBCUC) on Saturday strongly condemned the brutal murder of Nayan Sadhu and demanded tough punishment for those responsible.

Details of the Incident

On April 22, the charred body of Nayan Sadhu, who served at Sri Sri Sarvajanin Shiv Kali Temple at Khurmanshkul Union of Cox's Bazar Sadar Upazila, was found hanging from a tree in a deep forest far from the temple. According to HBCUC, on the evening of April 19, two unidentified individuals had called out Nayan Sadhu from the temple. Following his disappearance, the temple's head, Anjana Shil, immediately informed the local police station. His body was discovered three days later.
