Delhi Police Exam Cheating Ring Busted in Jodhpur, 3 Arrested Including Centre Officials
Police authorities have cracked down on a major cheating operation in Jodhpur. The gang was actively facilitating online cheating during the Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial) examination. This joint operation led to the arrest of three individuals on Tuesday.
Joint Operation Uncovers Fraudulent Activities
Delhi Police collaborated closely with the Banar police station team from Jodhpur. Together they conducted a thorough inspection of the examination centre located in Khokhariya. The examination was being conducted online by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
DCP (east) PD Nitya provided details about the operation. "We received specific information about the use of unfair means in this important examination," Nitya explained. "Our teams immediately coordinated with local authorities to investigate the matter."
Remote Desktop Applications Enabled Cheating
The cheating operation utilized sophisticated technology to bypass examination security. The gang employed remote desktop applications to assist candidates during the test. This technological approach allowed them to manipulate the online examination system.
Three key individuals have been arrested in connection with this case:
- Pemaram, who identified himself as the centre superintendent and owner
- Sanwala Ram, who served as the network administrator for the centre
- Mahendra, another individual involved in the operation
Evidence Collected During Investigation
During questioning, Pemaram's conduct raised immediate suspicions among investigating officers. Police discovered that he had been assisting multiple candidates at the examination centre. This assistance was provided in exchange for monetary compensation.
Authorities recovered significant evidence from Pemaram's possession:
- Multiple admit cards belonging to various candidates
- Detailed records of conversations related to the cheating arrangement
- Documentation confirming financial transactions
Similar suspicious activities were observed involving Sanwala Ram and Mahendra. Their roles in facilitating the cheating operation became clear during the investigation.
Legal Action and Ongoing Investigation
A formal case has been registered against all three accused individuals. The charges specifically address the use of unfair means during a public examination. This represents a serious violation of examination protocols and regulations.
All arrested individuals are currently undergoing detailed questioning by Jodhpur police. Investigators are working to determine the full extent of the cheating operation. They are particularly interested in identifying how many candidates may have benefited from this illegal arrangement.
DCP Nitya emphasized the importance of maintaining examination integrity. "Such activities undermine the fairness of competitive examinations," Nitya stated. "We are committed to ensuring that all examinations are conducted with complete transparency and without any malpractice."
The successful busting of this cheating ring demonstrates effective inter-state police cooperation. It also highlights the growing challenges authorities face in preventing technological cheating during online examinations.
