A fire erupted on the ninth floor of the Golden I commercial building in Greater Noida's Tech Zone-4 on Thursday morning, prompting a swift response from the fire department. Officials confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident.
Response and Deployment
Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar Chaubey stated that the fire department received an alert at approximately 9:40 am regarding a blaze on the ninth floor of the building. Initial reports suggested that some individuals might be trapped inside, leading to the immediate dispatch of five fire tenders and a hydraulic platform vehicle to the scene.
No Trapped Persons Found
Upon arrival, firefighters conducted a thorough inspection and determined that no one was trapped inside the building. The office where the fire originated was already closed at the time of the incident. CFO Chaubey noted that the information about people being trapped turned out to be incorrect, as the individual concerned had already exited the building safely before the fire department arrived.
Fire Brought Under Control
The firefighting team managed to bring the blaze under control after a sustained operation. The fire has been fully extinguished, and an inquiry has been initiated to determine the cause of the fire, according to officials.
