Authorities in Jaipur have rolled out an extensive traffic management plan in anticipation of massive crowds for the four-day 'Know Your Army' exhibition. The event is being held at the Bhawani Niketan Shiksha Samiti on Sikar Road and will run until January 12 as part of the ongoing Army Day celebrations.
Comprehensive Parking and Traffic Arrangements
To ensure smooth movement for visitors, the police have designated six specific parking areas within the institution's compound. One of these spots has been reserved exclusively for buses and other large vehicles. Five remaining parking spots will accommodate cars and two-wheelers.
A police official explained the rationale, stating that they expect many schools and educational institutions to arrive with buses full of students and teachers. The clear marking of entry and exit routes is intended to prevent congestion on the busy Sikar Road.
Detailed Entry and Exit Routes for Visitors
All visitors must enter the venue through Gate 5, which is located next to the Samiti's main gate on Sikar Road. The exit for vehicles is designated as Gate 6.
The traffic department has also specified routes for different streams of traffic. Vehicles approaching from the Dher Ke Balaji side will be permitted to take a U-turn at the Chomu Puliya Circle. Conversely, vehicles exiting from Gate 6 and heading towards Ambari must first proceed to the Dher Ke Balaji intersection and then take a U-turn at the first available cut.
Mandatory Aadhar Card for Entry and Exhibition Highlights
The police official added a crucial requirement for entry: all visitors must present their Aadhar cards at the gate to gain access to the exhibition grounds.
