The Lokayukta police in Karnataka have arrested a Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) and a constable on charges of accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000. The raid was conducted based on a complaint filed by Anand, a resident of Yadrami.

The arrested individuals have been identified as PSI Vishwanath Mudaraddi and a constable whose name has not been disclosed yet. According to officials, the duo demanded and accepted the bribe from the complainant to settle a matter. The Lokayukta team set up a trap and caught them red-handed while accepting the money.
Complaint and Investigation
Anand, the complainant, approached the Lokayukta alleging that the PSI and constable demanded Rs 20,000 to resolve an issue. Following verification, a raid was conducted and the accused were apprehended. Further investigation is underway to determine if there are other instances of bribery involving the same officials.
