Woman Injured in Knifepoint Chain Snatching Attempt in Tiruvallur

According to police reports, the suspect, 28-year-old Pavithra from the same locality, approached Shiyamala under the pretext of conducting a survey in the area. While engaging in conversation, Pavithra suddenly brandished a concealed knife and attempted to forcibly remove the gold chain from around Shiyamala's neck.
The situation escalated rapidly as Shiyamala resisted the attack, leading to a physical struggle during which she suffered a neck injury.
