Tip-Off Leads to Arrest After Chase

The police action was triggered on Thursday night when Heera Nagar police received a crucial phone tip. The complainant informed them that a person matching the description of a temple theft suspect was seen near the Kabitkhedi culvert, moving towards the rear road of Raghunandan Bagh.

Acting promptly on this information, a police team rushed to the location. Upon noticing the police, the suspect attempted to flee the scene. However, after a brief chase, the police team managed to corner and apprehend him.

Recovery of Stolen Items and Confession

During a search, the police recovered a brass idol and a brass pot from a plastic bag in the suspect's possession. During questioning, the accused was identified as 24-year-old Pradeep Kamkar, a resident of Scheme 78 in Indore.
