KV AGRAHARAM: A tragic incident unfolded in Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam district on Friday when a man was discovered hanging from a tree, and his three minor children were found dead inside their home. Police suspect family-related issues may have led to the deaths.
According to police, the family had gone to sleep around 9:30 pm on Thursday. The children's grandmother became suspicious when the family did not respond on Friday morning. Upon checking, she found the children unresponsive.
A police official stated, "Circumstances surrounding the deaths are under investigation. No suicide note or any other material has been found so far." The father was later located hanging from a tree at a nearby location.
Preliminary investigations suggest that family-related issues may have contributed to the incident. Police noted that the man's wife had been living separately from him for the past three years. Authorities ruled out any known property dispute, as the family did not own any property.
Two cases have been registered in connection with the incident: one under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) relating to unnatural death, and another pertaining to death by hanging. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances that led to these deaths.
