According to an official statement released by the Defence Public Relations Officer (PRO) in Pune, Pawar was employed as a cadet orderly or multi-tasking staff and had rendered approximately 11 years of service to the institution.
Mayur Pawar, a resident of Lamanwadi in Khadakwasla, was on duty at the time of the incident. Authorities from the Uttamnagar police station were immediately alerted and rushed to the spot. Following the procedure, his mortal remains were transferred to Sassoon General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
