Nephew Murders Uncle in Kashipur Factory After Drinking

A horrific mix of intoxication and rage led to a brutal family murder inside a Kashipur factory, resulting in the arrest of a man who allegedly killed his own uncle. The incident, which has sent shockwaves through the local community, underscores the devastating consequences of substance abuse and unchecked anger.

The Grisly Discovery and Investigation

The crime came to light on December 28, when the body of a man was discovered behind a locked gate inside the premises of Tosa International Private Limited in Mahuakheraganj, Kashipur. The deceased was identified as 54-year-old Karamveer Singh, a resident of Saderpur village in Bulandshahar's Aurangabad police station area, who worked as a night watchman at the factory.

Investigations quickly took a turn when it was revealed that the victim's nephew, Aprant Singh, who also worked as a guard at the same factory and shared living quarters with Karamveer, had fled the scene. His abandoned mobile phone raised immediate suspicion, marking him as the prime suspect.

Confession Reveals a Night of Drink, Drugs, and Violence

Based on a complaint filed by the victim's son, Rinku Kumar, an FIR was registered at the ITI Kotwali Police Station under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Assistant Superintendent of Police (Kashipur) Deepak Singh stated that the accused was traced with the help of CCTV footage and surveillance inputs.

During interrogation, Aprant Singh confessed to the murder. He revealed that on the evening of December 27, he and his uncle Karamveer had consumed alcohol and cannabis together. The ASP detailed the accused's statement, saying, "The victim misbehaved with him while being intoxicated. In a fit of anger, he strangled Karamveer and later struck him on the chin with a brick, killing him."

Community Reels from the Tragedy

The murder has left the local community and the factory staff in a state of profound shock. The fact that the crime was committed by a close family member within the workplace adds layers of betrayal and tragedy to the case. Police officials have highlighted how the combination of substance abuse and sudden rage can shatter familial bonds and lead to irreversible violence.

The swift arrest, aided by technology and investigative work, brings a measure of closure, but the incident serves as a grim reminder of the perils of addiction and uncontrolled temper. The family, now torn apart, must grapple with the loss inflicted from within.
