Noida Worker Arrested for Stealing Factory Threads

Police in Noida have arrested a man for allegedly stealing goods from a thread factory. The arrest happened near Pushta Mod in New Usmanpur on Monday.

Factory Employee Turns Thief

According to Santosh Kumar, the additional deputy commissioner of police for Central Noida, the accused man worked at a factory that makes threads and cords. His name is Dheeraj Saxena. His job involved transporting orders once they were ready.

The Stolen Shipment

On January 4, Saxena was supposed to deliver about 300 boxes of threads. Instead of making the delivery, he sold the entire shipment to a scrap dealer. The company quickly realized the goods were missing and filed a formal complaint.

The case was registered at the Sector 63 police station. Station House Officer Amit Kakran confirmed that authorities charged Saxena under Section 316(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for criminal breach of trust.

Recovery and Confession

Police arrested Saxena on Monday. During the arrest, they recovered the stolen threads from his possession. The total value of the recovered goods is approximately Rs 15 lakh.

When questioned, Saxena admitted to the crime. He told police officers that he acted out of pure greed. His confession provided clear details about how he diverted the shipment.

Search for the Scrap Dealer

Officer Amit Kakran stated that their investigation is continuing. Police are now working to identify and arrest the scrap dealer who purchased the stolen threads. Efforts are actively underway to track down this individual.

This case highlights how internal theft can impact local businesses. The quick police response led to the recovery of valuable property and an arrest.
